ABOUT S.U.N.

A collaborative space built by people who have the experience.

Solar United Network exists because two people who've spent their careers in solar sales and leadership development believe reps do their best work when they're not doing it alone.

S.U.N. Membership at a glance

With just one company membership every sales person gets access to all of SUN’s services and resources:

SUN Discussion: 2 facilitated discussions a month with your peers to attend as you want to.

1st Meeting of the Month: A topic-based discussion (timely and relevant) designed to support solar sales people with practical and useful ideas, suggestions, feedback and problem solving.

2nd Meeting of the Month: A reflective problem of practice discussion where members bring their challenges and we find solutions together.

Sun Forum: An online forum to post questions and share resources and ideas with your peers.

SUN Resources and Tools: A place to find vetted resources, products, and tools to support Solar Sales.

SUN Showcase: A place to find vetted partners that can support your work.

OUR FOUNDATION

Trust. Relationship. Integrity.

Three words, one through-line. Everything S.U.N. does — the trainings, the forums, the reviews — is built to reinforce these.

Trust

Members show up because the room is safe — no vendor pitches, no posturing, just honest exchange between people who've faced the same challenges.

Relationship

Selling solar well means selling relationally — the same principle that shapes every training, every peer session, every forum thread.

Integrity

The standard the community holds itself to. Integrity in how members treat customers and how members treat each other.

WHO’S BEHIND IT

Meet the founders.

A woman with short blonde hair, wearing a sleeveless rust-colored top and beige pants, sitting on a bench, writing in a notebook with a gold pen, in a modern interior with a large plant and wooden wall panel.

Taylor Selby

SOLAR SALES EXPERT & COACH

A trusted leader in the solar industry since 2008. Over 13 years, Taylor personally guided more than 1,000 homeowners through the decision to go solar — sitting with them at the kitchen table to explain the benefits, answer questions, and build lasting relationships. He's held leadership roles including Director of Sales at Affordable Solar and VP of Sales and Marketing at Positive Energy Solar, holds a Master's degree in Environment and Community, and is NABCEP certified in Technical Sales.

HOW S.U.N. IS STRUCTURED

One community, two forums.

Amicus is part of S.U.N. — not a separate group. Amicus members are S.U.N. members. The only difference is where the conversation happens.

SUN Forum — At-Large

Open to the whole community. Get & Give — post ideas, ask questions, share what's working, across every member company in the network.

AMICUS — MEMBERS ONLY

A dedicated, password-protected space for the Amicus Cohort — same community, same standards, a smaller and more specific room.

Ready to be part of it?

Open to solar sales professionals across the network.
